Sometimes people are unsure whether to purchase a wall print or not.  They are not sure how the picture would look in a 16×20 or a 20×30, or where you would even hang a picture that big.  Because of this, I wanted to show you what a 20×30 looks like in the home of one of my clients.  She so graciously agreed for me to come into her home and take a few pictures to show how she has decorated with prints, both BIG and small!

Here is a 20×30.  In order to get the best idea, you have to see a 20×30 in person!  They are simply fabulous!  After seeing this print, my wife wants a 20×30 for our living room wall!  Anyway, Kimberly has put the 20×30 over her fireplace – a wonderful place just begging for a big family portrait!

The next two pictures are examples of how she grouped pictures of the family.  I like how she separated the black and white and the color on two different walls.  The lamp light provides a nice, warm glow for the black and white photos!

Kolo Albums 11/23/2009

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and I’ve finally picked out a product line of albums that will supplement my photography.  The product is Kolo.   I like the variety of products and the variety of colors.  The quality is great also.  You can read all about the product line and the quality at the website.  I’m using the Vineyard for my 5×7 album and the Noci for my 4×6 album.  The Vineyard album is designed so that you can either keep the photos in the album, or take them out and give them as gifts and use the album elsewhere.  The Noci is a more lasting album designed as a brag book to store the 4×6′s.  I will also offer the Newport for an 8×10 album if the bride doesn’t want my regular albums.  The Matchbook is a 4×6 paper album perfect for bragbooks for your brides maids!  Here are a few photos of some of the albums.

Amber and Shaun’s Wedding 11/20/2009

Amber and Shaun’s wedding was in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina at the Little Switzerland Inn.  As you can see from my pictures, it was such a wonderful Spring day.  The weather cooperated perfectly for an outdoor wedding!!

Anna and Andrew’s Wedding 11/20/2009

One of the neat things about this wedding is that she had a butterfly release after the ceremony.  I’ve never been a part of a butterfly release, so I thought that was really special!

Julie and Brian’s Wedding 11/20/2009

Once again, I’m playing catch-up with my weddings on my blog.  This wedding was this past summer, but I’m just now posting it.  I felt it was important to post my older weddings from this summer for my potential brides that visit my blog.

Kim and Andrew’s Wedding 11/19/2009

Here are pictures from Kim and Andrew’s Wedding.  They were married in Hickory at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Hickory.  This is a beautiful rock church.  I’ve always wanted to shoot a wedding there, and I had my chance.  Hope you enjoy the photographs.

Kim and Andrew’s Wedding Album 11/19/2009

I’ve been very busy the last few months and haven’t posted my wedding material in a timely manner like I would liked to have done.  So over the next few days, I’m going to post some weddings I did over the summer.  Here is an album from one of my weddings.  I always try to encourage a bride to get an album!  I don’t really feel that I’ve completed my job unless I can deliver an album.  Here is a sample of an album that I designed.
